Lets play 52,000-Cheerios Pickup!

I guess you could say that this game is a little like "52-Card Pickup"...in the sense that its an annoying joke...and a big mess to have to clean up.

Why I decided to do this, I'm not 100% sure. Maybe its kind of like an at-home aversion shock therapy for my OCD cleaning habits.

All you need it :

The obvious...

And a clean-up crew...in this case...my dogs...

Give them the box of Cheerios aaaaaaaand....here we go!

Yeahhhhhhhh! Another successful mess completed!!!! =D

HELP!!! Reality TV Halloween costume overload!!!!

As a rookie to the game of parenthood, I still live in a fantasy land. The fantasy being that my child will do exactly what I want him to...without fussing of course =)

So lets go ahead deal with reality, shall we? On the subject of holidays, I am aware that after a certain time, I will no longer have the control to choose certain things. For example, his first birthday will probably be the only birthday party I will get to plan the way I have envisioned it.

Now do get me wrong, if Knox looks at me one day and says he wants to have a "Thomas The Train" birthday party, then he is going to get a "Thomas The Train" birthday party. I may cringe at the unoriginality of these generic commercial type themed parties, but if it makes him happy, then I am more than stoked to see his big eyes light up when he walks in the room filled with nothing but "Thomas The Train" crap. I mean I will throw him the most kick ass "Thomas The Train" party to ever exist!

But this year I am going to take advantage of my creative freedom...which brings me to Knoxs Halloween costume!

I love me some reality TV! The way I like to describe Reality TV is...well, its like your brains junk food...its addictive, its bad for you, and it taste great! In other words...my brain might need to have Lap-Band surgery...because it does not know when to STOP!

So, I have chosen 3 of my favorite reality TV stars as Knoxs Halloween costume...but I cant decide on which one...

 Number 1: Billy the Exterminator

I mean really?...look at him!...need I say more? If you have never watched this show...you suck! I remember seeing Billy on "Dirty Jobs" and thinking "This guy NEEDS his own show!" Look at that uniform! Could you imagine if you called for an exterminator and that shows up?! I would be thrilled.

Now I actually found a mini mullet wig...I have also found some studded bracelets and bandannas. As for the shirt, you can buy the decal online...so ill just make the shirt myself. Also, Mark had the idea of Knox carrying around a bucket of snakes or something...genius!

Contestant number 2: Bruce Mitchell from "Swamp People"

Again, if you have not see this show you suck! I enjoy any show where the people speak English but still need subtitles to understand what they are saying.
With Bruce here, the costume looks pretty simple...
  • American flag bandanna
  • cutoff overalls
  • and Crocs
I was thinking Knox could carry around a stuffed gator or something...you know, to help people out if they have no clue what hes suppose to be. Maybe ill even turn a wagon into a boat!!! =D

Last but no least! Number 3: Zak Bagan from "Ghost Adventures"

I always say that if I could have any job in the world, it would be this...a reality TV ghost hunter!
Why is "Ghost Adventures" my favorite? Because Zak and his crew are the most animated ghost hunters I have ever seen. I love that they will take their footage, slow it down, drawn an arrow or circle around something, and get all excited...because honestly...there's never anything there. The best part is when Zak starts having a conversation with the "ghost"...he acts like a drunk guy about to start a bar fight.

I'm guessing Zaks costume would look something like this:
  • Stick on tribal tattoos
  • A douchey skull shirt (as shown in above picture)
  • A belt buckle with something equally as douchey as the skull shirt (maybe a dragon?)
  • And big baggy carpenter jeans. Like who the hell wears those anymore?!....its gross. If you are still throwin' it back and wearing your Old Navy carpenter jeans (and you are not a carpenter or Jesus) then you need to have a discussion with yourself...cause those are NOT cute.

Silly Face Monday!!!

I decided to mix it up and upload some videos for "Silly Face Monday"...

This first video is of Knox in his walker (being silly of course)...obviously this contraption upsets my boxer Yeager.

And this last video was taken when we visited the Winchester Mystery House. After watching my husband carry Knox around in this sling, in a delicate manner such as this, I have determined that it is probably for the best that men cannot get pregnant and carry a baby for 9 months.

I would also like to add that Mark, forgetting the kid was strapped to his back, almost swung Knox into a door frame a couple times.

Knoxvilles 1st Birthday Invitation! Blog Style!

Come and join our family as we celebrate Knoxville's first birthday!!!

Silly fun is guaranteed!!!
Mustaches will be provided =)

You will receive an email with a phone number and directions to the party

Hope to see you there!!! =D

Silly Face monday!!!!

Every time I take Knox to the germy playground at the mall, he goes straight for this log tunnel thingy. He enjoys it so much that I decided to get him a little tunnel he could play in at home (without the big kids almost trampling on his head).

Well, finding a tunnel that wasn't a bug, skull, or dragon was a challenge. It's also difficult to find one that isn't attached to a spaceship, castle, or circus tent...sooooo...I went ahead and got the circus tent.

I took pictures of us playing  what I  like to call "Britney Spears Circus Tour". Basically, the game is played like this; I wait outside (for what feels like forever), then Knox pops his head out, stands up, screams really REALLY loud a couple of times, and goes back in the tent. So in a sense, its kind of like a Britney Spears concert.

HAAAA! I'm just kidding!...I actually love Britney Spears.  I even went to see her perform on the Circus Tour...it was amazing. She didn't realize her microphone was on and screamed "My pussy is hanging out!"...it was great...you cant make that kind of magical shit up.

He comes out...getting ready to stand up
...and before he could start his screaming, one of his ugly dolls falls over and knocks his blocks over...distractions are unacceptable to him...
 ...but he regulated quickly...

These were taken Sunday morning...just playing around in mom and dads bed...

 That one is my FAVORITE!

Yayyyyyy!!!! =)
