On the hunt...the Easter egg hunt

First, I know I haven't written anything in a while and that is mostly because...I feel like crap...but it is Easter and I decided to suck it up and have some family fun time.

This is the first Easter Knox was able to hunt for eggs. The whole experience was very interesting and I was surprised to see how well Knox did.

We were going to go to Napa or Sonoma (both places make beautiful backgrounds for pictures), but I have been dealing with something I have never dealt with before...ever...in my life...getting car sick so, we decided to stay close to home. Lucky for us Sacramento actually has a variety of nice parks to choose from.

Look at this cute little turd in his comfy casual Easter outfit =)

I wanted to make this picnic special, so I decided to make Cuban sandwiches. I know I have said it before but there is NO Cuban food in California. I had to make my own roast pork and order the Cuban bread from Miami FL...But everything turned out AMAZING! Also, I made a little snack (my favorite snack) of cheddar cheese and guava paste (also ordered online). Knox had a little ham and cheese sandwich with some tomatoes...which he didn't eat...shocker...

I wanted to make his first Easter egg hunt easy for him...

Once he got the egg out of the tree he decided all the other eggs needed to go up in the tree...

The rest of the time was spent eating...lounging...and blowing bubbles...

Silly Face Monday!!! (there is a kid in my soup!)

Remember all the fun you use to have with your moms Tupperware, pots, and pans? Yeah...never gets old...

Silly Face Monday!!!

We took another short trip to San Francisco. We decided to let Knox run around Union Square...you know, get all that toddler energy out.

It has come to my attention that the urge to torture animals (especially the small defenseless ones) is something that comes naturally to small children...and to ask them to control this urge would be like asking them to NOT breath...

Example: Knox chasing pigeons

Silly Face Monday!!!

Look at this little guy!!! He's so silly! =D

Miss Milly's (my pug) cage is in Knox's playroom. In the morning, I  normally close the closet door after I let Milly...but I guess I forgot to do that this particular morning...cause when things got a little too quiet (cause Kid + Silence = They're doing something they shouldn't) around the house...and I went to investigate...this is what I found...

He was watching TV and playing with his toys inside her cage...
