Silly Face Monday!!!

It is Monday, right?

What could be more extra super silly than your child's laugher?...NOTHING!...even if you're not 100% sure what they're laughing at.

Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! Yoooooooooo!

I had this blog finished and ready to go, then it disappeared.  Sooooooo, I kind of want to punch someone in the face. Since violence isn't something the Yo Gabba Gabba gang would encourage, especially when writing a blog about them, I won't do it.

Tuesday night was Knoxville's first concert! =D
When I heard that Yo Gabba Gabba Live was coming to Sacramento, I was all over that like fungus on a sloth. Mark made sure we had front row seats. I'm glad he did, because I couldn't have imagined Knox experiencing this show any other way.

I am not exaggerating when I say that Knox LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba.  When the show comes on TV, he gets a huge smile on his face and starts bouncing up and down to all the songs.  I'm definitely okay with his obsession. The show has helped me see what Knox's interest are, for example, whenever the episode with Migu comes on, he HAS TO watch her play the drums (I see a drum set in our future).  It kind of reminds me of my obsession with Sesame Street. I LOVED me some Big Bird!

I figured since I made Knox a Muno and Brobee t-shirt, he had to have some matching Muno shoes.

What an amazingly beautiful evening...perfect for a night for some singing and dancing, Yeah! =D

The drive there! I seriously thought he was going to fall asleep...

I decided to wear orange since I am  HUGE DJ Lance Rock fan! That's right! I said it! I love him! I'm a sucker for a guy that wears groovy accessories. I was super stoked to see Biz Markie and Leslie too.

Now, how to entertain him till the show starts...

Someone was excited! =D

He entertained himself by eating random crap off the floor...gross...

IT'S TIMEEEEEEE! =D

Here it was, the moment of truth. We were so close to the stage, it made me a little nervous to see how Knox would react to the loud music, lights, and screaming.

At first, he looked like he wanted to cry. When he finally realized what was going on, that this was like the TV show, only in super 3D, he was all into it.

The "Super Music Friend Show" was a bust. I had no idea who the band was. Same goes for "Dancy Dance Time"...blah...it ended up being some basketball player from the Sacramento Kings. I loved every ones reaction when the guy introduced himself, "Yayyyyyyyy????"

"Biz's Beat of the Day" completely made up for it though. He was so awesomeeeeee!

These shots I took with my phone suck, but I was trying to be sneaky with my camera.

Yoooooo! Its almost time to go!!!!
Awwwwww! =(

When I looked around us, all the other parents there were genuinely enjoying themselves. I mean, it sucks when you have to sit there...for an hour...at a kids show...that makes you want to poke your eyes out...EVEN when it makes you happy to see your kid happy. I know that I'm not a superhero, there is only so much "kids stuff" I can handle, but I REALLY enjoyed myself at the Yo Gabba Gabba Live show. I think it makes it more enjoyable for the kids when, they look over, and see their parents singing and dancing, having as much fun as they are.

Silly Face Monday!

My Moofin' Pants being his silly self =)

I took this one for Marks birthday...

Gross...

The rest of the pictures will demonstrate how much fun you can have with a plastic spoon (and other random objects) and a Tonka truck.

It's important to stretch first...

He's so silly =)

San Fran Trip: Part 3 ( Golden Gate, Muir Woods, and The End)

The last day of our vacation......sad face =(

But I had a great time and a nice little break from parenthood. Since I live so far away from my family, and I don't have any babysitters, I'm glad I took advantage of this time to be with my husband and my sister (and Jake).

We packed up all of our crap, loaded it in the car, and drove to the Golden Gate. I have never had a chance to walk on the bridge and take pictures, so I was excited to finally do this with my fancy big girl camera.

This was one of the signs on the bridge...I get what its for, but I love that they made the guy look so fancy...he has a fedora on for goodness' sake!

These are the homes right by the Golden Gate. I think these houses use to be apart of a military base...but I'm not sure....I find them to be extremely adorable.

On our drive back, I wanted to take my sister and Jake to Muir Woods. I remember going there when Knox was only a couple weeks old and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. There are a bunch huge redwood trees...again, you don't see that kind of stuff in Florida, so I thought they might enjoy it (even though I am perfectly aware that no 20-something year old wants to look a trees...unless that tree has boobies or dispenses beer).

Don't worry...if you get lost in the woods...there IS a pay phone.

Read please...

Gross...

The light coming through the trees was amazing!

Heyyyyy little guy!

Obviously, I added that writing in there...but I though this sign was silly. What and who is supposed to write stuff on this thing?!

Well, that's it! I hope you enjoyed my pictures and stuff! =)
